Laboratory Results-Based, Mechanism-Driven Medical Phytotherapy

Personalized, Structured Treatment for Chronic and Complex Diseases
About Me

Dr. Tamás Letoha – physician-scientist and phytotherapist with a mechanism-based medical approach.

For more than 25 years, I have been engaged in researching the molecular mechanisms underlying diseases and developing targeted therapeutic solutions. I earned my medical degree from the University of Szeged and obtained my PhD for investigating the physiological foundations of targeted drug delivery.

To date, I have published 37 international scientific papers in leading peer-reviewed journals, which have been cited more than 1,200 times. As the inventor of six international patents, I am actively involved in research on drug delivery systems and neurodegenerative diseases.

My company, Pharmacoidea Ltd., is an active participant in several international research collaborations. The company conducts integrated biotechnology developments, including molecular mechanism research, targeted drug delivery, diagnostic approaches, and gene therapy platforms. As part of our development activities, we create plant-based products that integrate modern scientific findings with traditional phytotherapeutic knowledge.

In my medical practice, I apply structured phytotherapeutic protocols based on laboratory findings for chronic and complex diseases, with the aim of targeting the underlying biological processes involved.

Over the years, my work has been recognized with several professional awards, including Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Role Model of the Year, and the Prima Award. For me, however, the most important feedback remains the measurable results achieved in practice.

The Pharmacoidea team actively participates in international research projects, collaborating with renowned partners such as:

Nature holds an answer to everything —
we simply need to recognize it.

Mission

Natural Solutions Based on Scientific Evidence

My goal is to combine the opportunities offered by nature with the latest scientific advances, creating an approach that provides safe, effective, and patient-centered solutions.

The advantage of plant-derived compounds lies in their ability to support the body’s natural functions through complex physiological mechanisms, contributing to both physical and mental well-being. Their effects extend from supporting immune and nervous system function to regulating metabolism and digestion, as well as promoting cardiovascular health.

I use only plant extracts whose efficacy has been validated by scientific research, including human clinical studies.

I firmly believe that modern medicine and phytotherapy are not opposing approaches but complementary tools for maintaining health and promoting preventive care.

This conviction drives my work to ensure that scientifically grounded phytotherapy provides practical, reliable, and safe support for individuals seeking natural ways to maintain and improve their health. My products are available through the Pharmacoidea webshop.

Laboratory Results-Based, Mechanism-Driven Medical Phytotherapy

Medical Decision-Making

The therapeutic strategy is not based on general recommendations.
A structured, personalized protocol is developed based on a detailed medical history, laboratory findings, and the patient’s current clinical condition.

Targeted Modulation of Biological Mechanisms

The therapeutic approach targets the underlying physiological pathways:
inflammatory processes, oxidative stress, hormonal and metabolic dysregulation, and microvascular dysfunction.

Standardized, Quality-Controlled Active Ingredients

Only preparations with known and standardized active ingredient content are used, taking into account potential drug–compound interactions and individual patient risk factors.

Structured, Monitored Therapy

Phytotherapy is not an occasional supplement to treatment, but a controlled, documented therapeutic system supported by continuous monitoring and follow-up.

Appointment Booking

The purpose of the consultation is to provide a medically grounded interpretation of symptoms and medical history, and to develop a personalized phytotherapeutic approach based on available medical records, lifestyle factors, and individual characteristics.

In my practice, plant-derived compounds are not used as generic “natural” remedies, but as biological modulators that exert their effects through complex physiological mechanisms. The focus is on understanding the interactions between neurological, immunological, metabolic, and cardiovascular processes, particularly in chronic and complex conditions.

The consultation is not based on promises of quick fixes, but rather on providing clear, practical, and professionally grounded support for individuals facing long-standing and multifaceted health challenges.

I use only plant extracts and formulations whose mechanisms of action and clinical applicability are supported by scientific evidence, preferably including data from human studies.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you have not found the answer to your question, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Primarily, I work with chronic and complex health conditions in which symptoms arise from multiple interconnected biological mechanisms.

These may include:

– metabolic and hormonal imbalances
– chronic inflammatory conditions
– digestive disorders and microbiome dysregulation
– neurovegetative dysfunction and stress-axis disturbances
– microvascular circulatory abnormalities

The approach is not symptom-oriented; rather, it focuses on the targeted modulation of the underlying biological processes.
